I caught Kevin Costner’s Robin Hood on some cable channel tonight. First time I’d watched it since 1991. Time has not done that movie any favors. I’m not just talking about the terrible attempts at accents; it’s also the thought that Costner and Christian Slater were once box office kings. It’s sort of like catching a rerun of Smokey and the Bandit and remembering that role made Burt Reynolds one of the biggest stars in the world. Hollywood is truly a place where you’re only as good as your last picture. Yikes.
